- Multiple sellers can compete to sell the same generic or branded  products.

FAQ
How does PriceBeater get access to my Takealot Account?
We access your data securely using your unique API Key. This key is available in the Takealot Seller Portal under the API Integrations tab. This key is available only to you and you can generate a new one at any time, effectively revoking our access to your API.Â

How do I get started?
To use Pricebeater you will need to be a registered Takealot Marketplace Seller with an active Takealot Seller Portal Account.
You will need to input your API Key, this key is available in the Takealot Seller Portal under the API Integrations tab. If you have these, you can register on PriceBeater and we'll do the rest.
Once PriceBeater has been implemented, please allow approximately an hour for the software to sync.
After that Log completely out of your Pricebeater Account and Log back in.
Allow your Software to begin displaying your sales data before making any changes towards your product pricing.

Can I change my plan at any time?
Absolutely, you are not bound by contract and can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time you please.

Why is my Pricebeater not updating information?
Any changes you make on the Takealot seller portal will require you to click "Resync" in the drop down menu under your username.
You can also log out and back in if that doesn't work.
If you still have issues and don't see what you expect, please get in contact so we can investigate.
PriceBeater adjusts your product's prices so you are always competing to win the buybox. The thing is, when a competitor starts dropping their price below what you would consider break even, you would set a Minimum price. This means, we won't drop your product's price below this amount. The same goes for your Maximum or Preferred price - we will not set it higher than this value. People aren't buying toilet paper for R10,000 anymore ð
